Minimally invasive structural heart therapies have transformed the way we treat complex heart conditions, offering patients faster recovery, reduced surgical risk, and long-term symptom relief. These procedures are performed through catheters inserted via small incisions, often eliminating the need for open-heart surgery.
We provide advanced percutaneous valve and structural interventions tailored to each patient’s condition, health status, and lifestyle needs.
Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR)
TAVR is a catheter-based procedure used to replace a narrowed aortic valve without open-heart surgery. It is especially beneficial for older adults or those at higher surgical risk. A new valve is delivered through a blood vessel and expanded inside the diseased aortic valve, restoring normal blood flow.
Ventricular Septal Defect (VSD) Closure
VSD is a hole between the lower chambers of the heart. For suitable patients, we offer catheter-based closure using a small device that seals the opening, avoiding the need for surgery. This procedure is commonly recommended when the defect causes symptoms or doesn't close on its own.
Atrial Septal Defect (ASD) Closure
ASD closure is a minimally invasive procedure to seal a hole between the upper chambers of the heart. A closure device is inserted through a catheter and positioned to permanently close the defect, improving heart function and reducing long-term risks.
Patent Ductus Arteriosus (PDA) Closure
PDA is a persistent vessel between the aorta and pulmonary artery. In eligible patients, it can be closed using a soft wire-mesh device delivered through a catheter, offering a safe alternative to surgery with quick recovery.
Percutaneous Mitral Valve Repair (e.g., MitraClip)
This therapy is designed for patients with mitral regurgitation who are not candidates for surgery. A clip is inserted via catheter and positioned to help the mitral valve close more effectively, reducing backflow and improving symptoms.
Personalized Care, Advanced Technology
Each patient’s condition is unique. We use detailed imaging, advanced diagnostics, and a collaborative heart team approach to determine the most appropriate treatment path. Our goal is to improve heart function, enhance quality of life, and minimize recovery time.
